You'll never get mixed up if you simply tell the truth.
Then you don't have to remember what you have said, and
you never forget what you have said.
--Sam Rayburn

Truth is always strong, no matter how weak it looks; and
falsehood is always weak, no matter how strong it looks.
--Phillips Brooks

Force Logoff in Windows XP With Winexit.scr

When workstations are left unattended, they may be a
security risk for your business. Here's one way to
force a user to automatically quit their programs and
logoff after a set amount of time.

Configure the Winexit.scr Screen Saver:

1. Use Windows Explorer to locate the Winexit.scr file in
the Windows 2000 Resource Kit folder on your hard disk.
2. Right-click the Winexit.scr file, and then click Install.
3. The Display Properties dialog box appears with the Screen
Saver tab active. "Logoff Screen Saver" is pre-selected.
Click Settings.
4. Select the "Force application termination" check box to
force programs to quit.
5. In the "Countdown for n seconds" box, type the number of
seconds for which the logoff dialog box appears before the
user is logged off.
6. In the "Logoff Message" box, type the message that you
want to show during the logoff countdown. Click OK.

"10 Ways To Increase Web Site Traffic"
By Ralph Moore (c)2004

1. Offer "courtesy" product samples, coupons or services.
Traffic to your site can jump quickly when you save people
some of their hard-earned money. And with a little extra
thought you can also add "brand recognition" of your web
site or even your business.

2. Offer no-cost software as a "courtesy" to your visitors.
People love to find useful software, especially when it is
provided at no charge and performs a valuable service.

3. Offer no-cost original content. When you offer your
visitors valuable information, unavailable elsewhere,
traffic to your web site will explode.

4. Set up a no-cost directory where your visitors can add
their business information to your site. By creating a list
of web sites on a certain topic, you allow others to add
themselves to that group and increase their own visibility
on the Internet.

5. Run a contest, auction or "sweepstakes". People love to
enter contests and win. And people also like the "edge"
that can be found in buying at an auction.

6. Establish a no-cost "community" at your web site related
to your presence on the Internet. People like to visit web
sites to share information, chat and meet other like-minded
"netizens". These are commonly referred to as "chat rooms"
and "message boards".

7. Offer a no-cost newsletter. People like to receive info
on the things that they are interested in. By offering a
email newsletter or a web site publication, you can pull
people to your site again and again.

8. Offer a no-cost affiliate program for your products. You
are not the only one who is trying to make a living on the
Internet. By offering to "share the wealth", you can really
increase your traffic, if your product is valuable or very
popular.

9. Set up a real-time "RSS" or news feed. Many of these are
available at no cost and are syndicated with current info.
Up-to-the-minute news is always in high demand.

10. Add a no-cost online utility to your web site. If you can
help others to solve a problem that they have, people will
visit your web site. Such utilities include email accounts,
email autoresponders, special calculators, search engines,
html or other "formatters" and more.

These are but a few of the ways that you can increase your
traffic to your web site, and ultimately, elevate your
bottom line. By continuing to be innovative and creative,
you can march on to bigger and better things on the web.

5) ======= Light Flight =======
[The Lighter Side Of Life - Jokes & Humor]

A city fellow, new to the country, walks into a hardware
store and asks to buy a saw that will cut five trees per
hour. The salesman sells him his top of the line chain
saw. Impressed, the city fellow buys it.

The next day, looking worn out, he brings the saw back and
complains, "This saw is defective. It would only cut down
one tree and it took all day long!"

The salesman starts up the saw to see what's wrong, and the
city fellow jumps back and yells... "What's that noise?"

6) ======= Eagle's Talon =======
[Tools to help you "get a grip" on things]

CopyURL From Moon Software

CopyURL is a shell extension that helps you to copy info
from your Internet Shortcuts (your Favorites folder) to
the Windows clipboard. Then you simply paste from the
clipboard to your emails, HTML editor or other documents.

It adds commands Copy URL, Copy Link and Copy Name to the
shell context menu of Internet Shortcut files.

Each command adds different text to the clipboard:

Copy URL copies "http://www.moonsoftware.com"
Copy Link copies "Moon Software"
Copy Name copies "Moon Software: http://www.moonsoftware.com"

If you have selected multiple links, then CopyURL will make
a list of the information, which is what makes it so useful.

"WinSock XP Fix" for Internet problems

WinSock XP Fix is a last resort when your connectivity to
the Internet has been corrupted due to invalid or removed
registry entries.

This utility can often fix your problems after the removal
of Adware components or improper uninstall of firewall
apps or other tools that modify the XP network and Winsock
settings.

Winsock XP Fix can create a registry backup of your current
settings, so it's safe to use.

black. If the cube is cut into 125 smaller cubes, exactly
the same size, how many of the small cubes will have 2 of
their sides painted black?

Answer to Last Issue's Puzzler...

[Joe invites 30 of his friends to watch the football game
on his new big-screen television.

The local pizza shop has a "buy one get one free" special.

Joe orders two of the largest pizzas they have. If one large
pizza can be cut into twelve slices, how can he be sure that
he will have enough for thirty people?]

Since he ordered two pizzas, he will end up with a total of
four (buy one get one free) and he will have 48 pieces.
His friends will each get at least one piece of pizza.
