"Tomorrow Never Comes" - Guest Article
by John Colanzi
There's a song that says, "Never worry about tomorrow,
tomorrow never comes." How true those lyrics are.
We spend so much time worrying about what tomorrow will
bring that we miss out on the pleasures of today.
We listen to the news and the advertisers who have made
it their business to scare us with their headlines.
As soon as a baby is born, they start making the parents
feel guilty if they don't have a college fund set up.
They ask the older citizens, "Will your family be taken
care of when you've passed away?"
Planning for the future is fine, but what happened to
enjoying today's sunset, or a leisurely walk in the
woods.
What happened to "giving no thought for the morrow?"
That statement doesn't mean you shouldn't plan for the
future. It means don't obsess and worrying over what
may or may not come.
There's a story about two women vacationing in Hawaii.
They're walking through this beautiful garden and the
one woman turns and says to her friend, "I wish Charlie
was here to see this."
The next day they're walking along a beautiful beach
and she turns to her friend and says again, "I wish
Charlie was here to see this."
This went on everyday of their vacation. Every beautiful
site they visited, she would repeat that phrase. So who
was Charlie?
Charlie was her husband who had recently passed away.
They had spent their whole married lives planning their
big vacation to Hawaii.
Sadly they never got to go, because Charlie was always
too busy working to secure their future. Charlie never
realized "tomorrow never comes."
What could have been a dream come true never happened.
This woman had to take that vacation by herself,
wishing Charlie was there to share it with her.
Don't lose today's pleasures worrying about what
tomorrow will bring.
Tomorrow never comes.
Wishing You Success,
John Colanzi

A woman has twins and gives them up for adoption. One goes
to a family in Egypt and is named Amahl. The other one, who
goes to a family in Spain, ends up with the name of Juan.
A few years later, Juan sends a picture of himself to his
birth mother on his birthday.
Upon receiving the picture, the mother tells her husband
that she wishes she also had a picture of Amahl.
Her husband reminds her, "Hey, they're twins - if you've

"404 - What's Up With That?"
By Ralph Moore (c)2004
There you are, happily surfing the web, when you run into
yet another one of those "The page cannot be found" errors.
In technical jargon, the most common of these types of
problems is known as a "404 error".
"What's up with that" you say? Well, there are many reasons
for page not found errors.
One of the first things to check is your typing. If you
have mis-typed the link to the web page into your web
browser's navigation bar, you may get a 404 error.
For example if you wanted to visit Yahoo, you would go to
http://www.yahoo.com/ but if you made a mistake and typed
in http://www.yahox.com/ you will get a 404 error.
If a web server is temporarily down, you will most likely
reach a 404 page. Or if a problem with either the server
or the workstation from which the web pages are uploaded,
occurs while the site is being updated, you could reach
a page that is damaged or incomplete, resulting in an
error page.
The Internet is constantly changing. Even while you are
in the process of viewing a site, the contents may be
changing if a site administrator is updating the web
pages, or if the site is database driven or dynamic.
And if the site administrator makes a mistake or changes
the name of the web page or the link to the page, you
may once again end up at an error page.
Again, if you are clicking a link to a site from another
web site, any mistake in the link will send you to a
404 page.
A smart web site administrator will create a custom
error page to help re-direct people who make "typos".
To see an example of this visit http://www.yahoe.com/
a common mis-spelling of the popular site in our
example above. In that case, the people at Yahoo
bought a commonly mis-spelled domain name and placed
their custom 404 page there, with a link to the actual
site.
In some cases, the link to a web site may be "case-
sensitive". Type the link in upper case letters, and
you might get an error.
And finally, if a web page seems to have disappeared,
well, it may have. It wouldn't be the first time that
a company has gone out of business or a person got
tired of their hobby.
These are just a few of the many reasons for the error
pages that you reach while wandering around on the
Internet.
