1) ======= Flight Lines =======
[Observations on business and life]
Do not attempt to do a thing unless you are sure of
yourself; but do not relinquish it simply because
someone else is not sure of you. --Stewart E. White
A man who waits to believe in action before acting is
anything you like, but he's not a man of action....
You must act as you breathe. --Georges Clemenceau
Make sure you are headed in the right direction, and move
forward, one step at a time. You will as surely reach
your destination as the sun will rise again in the east.
Action coupled with direction results in success.
2) ======= Wing Tips =======
[A variety of business helps and tips]

"The New World Of Online Commerce" - Part 2
By Ralph Moore (c)2004
Welcome to the second article in the series entitled
"The New World of Online Commerce".
As businesses find new and better ways to integrate the
sales of their products with the Internet, the need to
use "third-party" payment processors for e-commerce is
increasing.
The following companies provide a range of services to
meet the needs of many online merchants. Sometimes the
differences are small, so if the need arises you may be
able to move on to another company with little more than
a few "tweaks" to your sales process.
To be sure, it is important to ask a lot of questions,
such as which software cart will work with your web host,
how much time and money will need to be spent to sign up
and get started selling, and more.
Here is a brief overview of some of the many companies on
the net. Be sure to get the latest information first-hand
before "signing on the line", as things change rapidly on
the Internet.

retail price of each total order, with no leases and no

The Sysinternals web site provides you with advanced
utilities, technical information, and source code

than "regular" users, it bears mentioning as it one resource
that provides powerful utilities suitable for anyone who
needs to troubleshoot a working system.
Here's their web site: http://www.sysinternals.com/
5) ======= Light Flight =======
[The Lighter Side Of Life - Jokes & Humor]
What If Dr. Seuss was a Technical Writer?
Here's an easy thing to say:
If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report!
If your cursor finds a menu item followed by a dash,
and the double-clicking icon puts your window in the trash,
and your data is corrupted 'cause the index doesn't hash,
then your situation's hopeless, and your system's gonna crash!
You can't say this? What a shame sir!
We'll find you another game sir.
If the label on the cable on the table at your house,
says the network is connected to the button on your mouse,
but your packets want to tunnel on another protocol,
that's repeatedly rejected by the printer down the hall.
And your screen is all distorted by the side effects of gauss
so your icons in the window are as wavy as a souse,
then you may as well reboot and go out with a bang,
'cause as sure as I'm a poet, the sucker's gonna hang!
When the copy of your floppy's getting sloppy on the disk,
and the microcode instructions cause unnecessary risk,
then you have to flash your memory and you'll want to RAM your ROM.
Quickly turn off the computer and be sure to tell your mom!
