Organize the Start Menu in Windows XP

After running Windows XP for awhile, your Start menu may
become difficult to navigate. The programs and folders
often will be listed out of order. Here is a simple way
to organize your Start menu:

Click the "Start" button.
Click "All Programs".
"Right click" on a programs folder and click the
"Sort by name" command to rearrange everything into
alphabetical order.

"The New World Of Online Commerce" - Part 1

Welcome to "the new world of online commerce".

Today, small businesses need efficient automated ways to
conduct sales online.

In many cases, the easiest way to get there is to make use
of "third party payment processors" that offer a complete
solution to the process of taking orders online.

These payment processors are usually very easy to set up
and require little in the way of maintenance. In most
cases they will provide their customers with a completely
automated system that is fast, efficient and reliable, in
exchange for a small percentage of the sale price of each
transaction.

With the capability of accepting payments 24 hours a day,
7 days a week, businesses can focus their efforts on their
business activities, instead of a complicated process of
taking orders and filling out forms.

When properly set up, the entire process including initial
customer inquiry, order taking, payment and product delivery
can be fully automated.

The process usually follows a path similar to this one:

1. A potential customer searches for a product online,
finds a carefully crafted ad that motivates him to click
the link to your site to see what your product offers.

2. Having read your excellent sales copy which answers
all of his questions about your product and convinces him
that he need look no further, the visitor now decides to
become your NEW CUSTOMER and buy your product.

(Think about it. That's a BIG DEAL, isn't it?)

3. Finding the payment button at the bottom or your web
page, your new customer clicks the sales link to begin
the process of transferring his money to your account.

(This is getting exciting!)

4. The customer fills out the order form and clicks the
submit button to send the information on for processing.

5. An automated payment "gateway" initiates a credit card
or "e-check" authorization process, and upon approval, the
transaction is completed, transferring funds from the
customers account to either your bank account or into a
holding account at the online processor.

(That's my favorite part of the process!)

6. In the case of online information products, the customer
is immediately taken to a web page where he can access his
products for download. With physical products, the customer
will be taken to your "follow-up" web page which explains
the rest of your process for product delivery, etc.

In all honesty, if you think about how automated this whole
process is, it's easy to see that the online sales process
that the Internet offers is simply amazing.

Even while you are asleep, your web page can be responsible
for acquiring new customers, making sales, delivering your
products, following up with your customers to insure their
complete satisfaction and more.

And one of the critical steps in the process is the use of
these third party payment processors. Here are a few of the

In the next in this series of articles, I will compare and
contrast the various services offered by these companies.

In the meantime, get started today by building a completely
automated online sales system, that can multiply your income

The REAL reason I'm always so tired!

For a couple of years now I thought it was from a lack of
sleep, but recently I discovered the real reason... I'm
just overworked! Here's why:

The population of this country is 273 million. 140 million
are retired. That leaves 133 million to do the work.

85 million are in school, leaving 48 million to do the work.

29 million of them work for the government, leaving just 19
million to do the work.

3 million are in the military, fighting the war on terror.
That leaves 16 million to do the work.

15 million of them work for state and city governments which
leaves 1 million to do the work.

Most of the time there are 200,000 people in hospitals. That
leaves 800,000 to do the work.

Now, there are 799,998 people in prisons. That leaves just two
people to do the work. You and me.

And there you are sitting on your rear at your computer,
reading jokes.

[John and Mark, two candidates in the next election, were
having a spirited debate. They were each given a glass of
ice water before speaking. Halfway through the contest of
wits, Mark suddenly fell to the ground.

Rushed to the local hospital, he was declared "DOA" (dead
upon arrival).

Both men's drinks were poisoned and both should have died.
Why did John manage to survive?]

The poison was in the ice. Mark sipped his drink, while
John quickly drank his, avoiding most of the poison.
