"The New World Of Online Commerce" - Part 2"
By Ralph Moore (c)2003

Welcome to the second article in the series entitled
"The New World of Online Commerce".

As businesses find new and better ways to integrate the
sales of their products with the Internet, the need to
use "third-party" payment processors for e-commerce is
increasing.

The following companies provide a range of services to
meet the needs of many online merchants. Sometimes the
differences are small, so if the need arises you may be
able to move on to another company with little more than
a few "tweaks" to your sales process.

To be sure, it is important to ask a lot of questions,
such as which software cart will work with your web host,
how much time and money will need to be spent to sign up
and get started selling, and more.

Here is a brief overview of some of the many companies on
the net. Be sure to get the latest information first-hand
before "signing on the line", as things change rapidly on
the Internet.
